Yoga. I could list all the things yoga is good for, or I can just tell you that yoga is good for all the things. It's true. It is.
I came to yoga a long time ago, but never really made it a part of my life consistently until about 5 years ago. It was after my breast cancer diagnosis. I was looking for overall healing, but what yoga helped me with initially was gaining mobility and strength back in my chest and shoulder after radiation and my mastectomy and reconstructive surgeries. Naturally, I began to realize that yoga was helping me with more than just the surgical healing part. It was healing my soul. I know, I know. Maybe that's a little woo-woo for some peoples' taste, but it's true and I can't think of any other way to put it. In 2018, I finally decided to take the plunge and become a yoga teacher. I am registered with the Yoga Alliance with the RYT-200 designation. I received my training from Peace Through Yoga. Teaching schedule is posted below!
